Do you let your kids eat unwrapped Halloween candy?

It’s a perennial Halloween rule: Don’t eat any candy that isn’t wrapped. Urban legends of nefarious psychopaths insidiously hiding razor blades or drugs or poison in the candy that they distribute to children on Halloween night are as dependably prevalent today as ever. As parents, do you believe these stories? Do you let your children eat unwrapped Halloween candy or is it just an old wives’ tale?
